Meet Dr. Jennifer Araya

Dr. Araya was born in New Jersey and raised in Miami, Florida. She completed her dental school training at Nova Southeastern University. Jennifer practiced general dentistry for 3 years, fell in love with dental surgery, and completed an additional program specializing in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at Nova as well. She is also a board-certified periodontist, making her a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is the highest level of achievement in the specialty of periodontology and implantology, reflecting the mastering of clinical and didactic skills. Dr. Araya is a member of the American Board of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Araya specializes in procedures such as gum surgery for periodontal disease, gum grafts for recession, tooth extractions, bone grafts, and dental implants. Jennifer prides herself on being kind and compassionate with all her patients in order to provide them with the confidence that comes with a beautiful smile and most importantly a healthy smile. She provides patients with comprehensive periodontal treatment with the main goal of achieving and maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

Why dentistry?

The before and after changes in my adored patients are indescribable and gratifying. I truly love what I do and I chose this profession for the reason of helping people. Outside of the office Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing basketball, and whenever possible spending time at the beautiful beaches of South Florida!
